About

Clarence Valley Organics was born — like most good things — from a deep love of good food.

Real food.
Whole food.
Food that tastes like where it comes from.

CVO began as a way to connect people in the Clarence Valley with locally grown, organic produce — supporting small-scale growers and ethical farms, and making it easier to eat well at home.

That vision was first brought to life by Laura, who founded Clarence Valley Organics with community at its heart. She saw what this region already had — passionate growers, fertile land, and people who cared deeply about what they were feeding their families — and built something meaningful from it.

Today, CVO continues that same thread, while gently stepping into its next chapter.

A new season

Hi — I’m Bree.
I’m a mum of three including twins, a certified nutrition consultant (pregnancy, postpartum and babies), business owner and someone who has always believed that food is one of the quiet foundations of a good life. In my previous seasons I dabbled between Human resources management and opening and running restaurants in Sydney.

In 2026, my family and I stepped into Clarence Valley Organics with the intention of honouring what was built, while deepening the connection between food, community and place. It feels good to be here..working closely with suppliers, gettign to know the community, growers the farmers who are in charge of our food security and land.

This is CVO version two — rooted in the same values, but shaped by lived experience: busy weeks, shared meals, kids in the kitchen, and the need for nourishment that feels doable.

Food grown by people you can name

The Clarence Valley is surrounded by an incredible community of growers, farmers and makers — people who are producing food with care, patience and skill.

We work directly with:

  • local organic, biodynamic and spray-free growers
  • ethical meat producers who work with seasonal harvests
  • bakers, egg farmers and makers who care deeply about quality

This is real food, grown by real people, in real places — and we believe supporting them matters now more than ever.

We collect directly from farms where possible, reducing food miles and unnecessary handling. Money goes back into the hands of the people growing your food — not large corporations.

You’ll often find us out on farms mid-week, picking greens, washing produce, loading crates and building genuine relationships. We’re hands-on because that’s how trust is built.

How we think about food

We believe good food doesn’t need to be complicated.

Our boxes are designed around seasonality, not recipes.
What’s growing well comes first — then meals unfold naturally.

We pack orders the night before or morning of delivery so produce arrives fresh, nutrient-dense and full of life. Meat is delivered fresh to us, then frozen immediately to preserve quality. Availability reflects harvest rhythms — not mass production — and we’ll always work with you if something changes.

This is slower food, done properly.

Community, always

Clarence Valley Organics exists because of community — growers, customers, families, conversations, feedback and shared values.

Whether you order weekly, fortnightly, or just when life allows, we’re here to support you with food that fits into real life — not perfection.

If you want nourishing, seasonal produce without the overwhelm, we’ve got you covered.
If you want to support local growers and eat closer to home, you’re in the right place.

We look forward to feeding you and yours — and seeing what you create with your box.

With care,
Bree
