What's in my box?

At Clarence Valley Organics, your box is shaped by what’s growing well right now — not by a fixed list.

We source locally first, favour organic and spray-free produce wherever possible, and build each box around the natural rhythm of the seasons. That means your box changes week to week, just like real food does.

And that’s a good thing.

What seasonal really means

Seasonal produce reflects the time of year, the weather, and what our growers are harvesting at their best.

So while you might see tomatoes, basil and cucumbers one week, the next could lean more toward leafy greens, root vegetables or something a little unexpected.

Our climate here in the Clarence Valley is incredibly generous — which allows our growers to produce a wide variety of fruit and vegetables — but it also means variety and timing will always lead.

We don’t aim for sameness.
We aim for freshness, flavour and nourishment.

What you can expect inside your box

Each week, boxes are built to work together — so produce can be eaten fresh, cooked simply, or carried across multiple meals.

For example, in summer, boxes may include combinations like:

Fresh & leafy

  • Fancy lettuces, wild rocket or spinach
  • Silverbeet, rainbow chard or Asian greens

Colour & crunch

  • Tomatoes, cucumbers, capsicum, zucchini
  • Zucchini, beans, sweetcorn, button or flat mushrooms

Roots & grounding veg

  • Sweet potato, pumpkin, baby beetroot
  • Potatoes, onions, carrots

Fruit

  • New Season apples, stone fruit, melons, citrus
  • Mangoes, spray free blueberries, bananas

Herbs & flavour

  • Basil, coriander, parsley, mint
  • Garlic, ginger, spring onions

Each week’s mix will vary depending on availability — but boxes are always balanced so you can make meals stretch across the week with ease.

We like to keep things interesting

We have a soft spot for interesting varieties and lesser known produce, and when something special is available, we love introducing it into boxes.

It might be a new type of lettuce, a different pumpkin, or a seasonal fruit that only appears briefly.

We’ll always guide you with ideas and inspiration — and trust that your kitchen curiosity will do the rest.

A note on organic & spray-free produce

We endeavour to source as much of our produce as possible from local, organic and spray-free farms.

When certified organic options aren’t available, we:

  • source local first
  • choose seasonal produce
  • work with growers we trust

Every decision is made with care — for your health, our growers, and the land that feeds us all.

This week’s box

To see what’s been packed most recently, head to our Weekly Pack List which we share on our socials where we share a snapshot of what went into boxes that week and where it came from.

It’s a little window into the season — and the farms behind your food.

If you ever have questions about what’s inside your box, or how to use something new, we’re always happy to help.

We love being part of your kitchen.
