Meet our pork producer: Hogan Farms

Meet our pork producer: Hogan Farms

We’re so excited to introduce a new producer joining our meat boxes — Hogan Farms.

Based in New Italy, Hogan Farms raises truly free-range pigs in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. This is certified APIQ® Free Range pork — gestation stall free and raised outdoors with space to roam, root and behave naturally.

If you’ve been searching for free range pork in NSW or ethically raised pork in the Northern Rivers, this is exactly the kind of farming we believe in supporting.

David Hogan’s pigs are raised slowly and respectfully, without shortcuts, growth hormones or routine chemicals. It’s pork grown with animal welfare and soil stewardship at the forefront.

For us at Clarence Valley Organics, sourcing meat is never just about the product — it’s about supporting ethical farming practices and keeping local food systems strong.

Whole Hog, Whole Animal

This whole hog was butchered by Trevor at Lennox Head Butchery, ensuring the quality of each cut is honoured from farm to table.

By purchasing whole animals, we’re able to offer a range of cuts — from premium medallions and belly to broth bones and trotters — encouraging nose-to-tail cooking and reducing waste.

This is how small-scale, ethical meat supply should work.

Now Available

Hogan Farms pork is now:

• Included in our CVO Small and Family Meat Boxes
• Available individually through our online store
• Delivered across the Clarence Valley and available for Wednesday Yamba pickup

From organic pork mince and thin sausages to leg roasts, spare ribs and scotch fillet — this is pasture-raised pork grown properly in NSW.

Good food starts with good farming.

And when we choose ethical pork raised locally in the Northern Rivers, we strengthen our local food community.

These cuts are limited — once this whole hog is sold through, availability will depend on the next purchase.

If you’ve been wanting to try certified free-range pork in the Clarence Valley, this is your chance.
