Edible Flowers Mix
Edible Flowers Mix
A handful of colour, straight from Little Things Grown in Maclean.
Avyssa grows these one tray at a time - pansies, cornflower, borage, dianthus, whatever's flowering that week - and they land in your box the same day they're picked. No two punnets look quite the same, and that's the point.
How to use Scatter over salads, cakes, cheese boards or a weekend brunch. Freeze a few into ice cubes for something pretty in a summer drink. They're delicate, so add them last - right before serving, not while you're cooking.
How to store Keep refrigerated below 5°C and use within a few days of your box arriving. Don't wash unless you're using them straight away - a light rinse just before serving keeps them holding their shape.
Recipe ideas
- Scattered over a roasted beetroot and goat's cheese salad
- Pressed into butter for warm scones - good for the last of the cold mornings
- Folded through a mandarin, fennel and rocket salad
