How to prepare

Cut off the top and base, slice away the skin, then quarter and remove the core before slicing or chunking.

Spring recipe: Grilled pineapple with chilli and lime

Cut pineapple into thick rounds and grill until caramelised on both sides. Squeeze over lime juice and a pinch of chilli flakes for a quick, sweet-and-spicy side.

How to store

Keep at room temperature until ripe and fragrant, then move to the fridge. Once cut, store in an airtight container and use within a few days.
